History

Questeq was founded in the Pittsburgh, PA region in 1983 by Ron Main, a math teacher whose experience with technical frustrations, compromises, and inefficiencies led him to action. Recognizing the need for both day-to-day management and vision-oriented planning of technology, Questeq became immersed in improving the technology management process. Today, Questeq has customers in nine states including three of the largest public school districts in the country – Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Cleveland – and has earned partnerships with some of the world’s premier high-tech companies. With six customizable managed service categories ranging from technical support to complete information systems management, Questeq provides planning, installation and maintenance of hardware, software and networks.
